What We Do

For over 20 years, I have offered Canadians the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine and the proven benefits of acupuncture to treat a variety of conditions, ranging from joint pain to infertility and weight control. The majority of my patients live nearby, while quite a few referred by their relatives/friends travel a long way to see me from other cities (e.g. Edmonton and Toronto), and even other countries (e.g. U.S.A., Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China).

Personalized Treatments

Your treatment at my clinic begins with an in-depth conversation. You do the talking, and I will listen. My analysis and diagnosis of your symptoms is then based on a thorough understanding of what you are experiencing. My treatment plan is aimed at not simply alleviating symptoms but addressing the underlying causes.

Supplement Your Treatment with Alternative Medicine

I have been able to help many patients for whom conventional medical treatments probably failed. Some of my patients have lost weight naturally after my cleansing program, re-gained the mobility of joints and muscles and achieved a pain-free life without taking medications (which often have serious side effects, e.g. stomach discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, dizziness, allergic reaction and addiction).

Visit Regularly for Ongoing Wellness

I encourage all to come in every 6 months or so for a tune-up program (3 treatments in a row), even if there are no overt symptoms. This is to ensure the healthful energy continues to flow unimpeded. The preventive measures can check and remove energy blockage, maintaining wellness year after year throughout a long life.

Our Commitment

Listening, detailed history-taking and observation are an essential part of my practice. With each patient, I listen patiently and then observe carefully for signs and symptoms. This may involve checking your pulse and tongue (to make a “pulse and tongue diagnosis”), measuring blood pressure and conducting other simple tests.

I am always seeking to develop a complete understanding of the real causes of health problems. These can be due to various reasons, such as job-related postures, repetitive actions, side effects from current medications, unhealthy eating/drinking habits, inappropriate exercises and certain life style choices. In order to gain cooperation with good results, I offer my patients a combination of therapeutic treatments, clear education and advice.
